Job summary

Bain & Company seeks a Senior Technologist to join the Technology Insights Group in London. You will lead technical due diligence, assess architectures and cybersecurity, and translate complex findings into strategic business insights for private equity and corporate clients.

You will collaborate with case leadership, shape executive-level conclusions, and contribute to proposals and IP development. The role requires extensive software engineering leadership and AI experience in a fast-paced

Qualifications

10+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering and architecture.
Direct experience with AI-enabled software development lifecycles and AI/Generative AI in products or processes.
Strong knowledge of software architecture, tech stacks, cloud, cybersecurity and data/analytics.

Responsibilities

Act as a senior technologist and executive-level contributor across technology due diligence and value creation engagements.
Evaluate product capabilities, assess technical debt, architecture choices and cybersecurity risks.
Translate technical findings into clear business implications and investment needs.
Lead deep dives on critical technical topics with Bain's technologist network.
Shape proposals and contribute to client pitches with credible technical leadership.
Mentor junior TIG team members and contribute to Bain's IP development.
