Job summary

TeamKids in Canon Hill, Australia, is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) to lead before and after school care programs and help deliver high-quality services to children and families. This permanent, part-time role offers hands-on leadership, events, and daily oversight in a busy OSHC setting.

You’ll work across split shifts Monday to Friday, engage with schools and communities, and help create enriching experiences based on children’s interests.

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care or education ideal; training provided.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

You’ll Work Across Split Shifts, Monday To Friday

• Before School Care: 6:30 - 9:00
• After School Care: 1:45 - 6:00pm
• Admin: 2.75
• Total Hours: 34

The Successful Candidate

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate About Creating Enriching Experiences For Primary-aged Children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!
• Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards. (Visit www.acecqa.gov.au for more info)
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
