Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead to join Fieldfisher's Real Estate team.
In addition to existing PA responsibilities, the Team Lead duties include:
- Day-to-day management of the PA team, being a role model and ensuring adherence to the agreed PA model and Hybrid Policy across the Business Unit.
- Supervise performance management through Clear Review, ensuring full engagement and proper system use by all team members.
- Chair regular PA team meetings to foster teamwork and keep team members updated with key information.
- Participate in monthly Lead PA meetings, ensuring timely completion of actions and proper information cascade.
- Address performance issues with team members, including timekeeping and absenteeism, and develop action plans.
- Manage PA allocations based on business needs, including planning for pinch points.
- Seek regular feedback from Partners/Fee Earners on team performance and update PA Operations Manager accordingly.
- Meet regularly with Business Manager and nominated Partners to improve support and resolve issues.
- Lead on training and development of the PA team.
- Manage the probation process, providing feedback at 6 weeks and at the end of probation, and address concerns with PA Operations Manager.
- Handle planned absences and arrange cover, communicating with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate recruitment needs with the Recruitment team.
- Support onboarding of new PAs and assign support buddies.
- Assist with projects across Legal Support Services.
- Undertake additional training as needed.
Experience, skills and Knowledge
- Office management experience and knowledge.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proven team leadership experience, including workload management and collaboration.
- Project management and schedule coordination experience.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized.
- Proficiency in firm platforms and portals, with ability to instruct others.

- Strong interpersonal skills for positive relationships across locations.
