Job summary

Benugo in Exeter is seeking staff to uphold exceptional customer service while supporting kitchen and front-of-house tasks. You will assist with deliveries, stocking fridges, and serving on the floor, with a focus on accuracy and hygiene.

The role requires strong communication, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive attitude. Flexible contract options are available, including full-time and part-time shifts within a busy retail/cafe environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of customer experience at all times.
• Assist with kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• Organise deliveries and stock fridges using FIFO.
• Clear tables and maintain a clean working environment.
• Ensure labels and prices are correct and update as needed.
• Stay aware of promotions, pricing and product information.
• Work on tills and handle cash following procedures; serve food and drinks.
• Follow all food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet service targets and keep operations smooth.
• Attend training and development courses as requested.
• Represent WSH and John Lewis professionally in behaviour and knowledge.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required by management.

Contract: Full Time or Part time

Hourly Rate: £12.71ph

• Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
• Assisting with any kitchen, front of house and back of house cleaning duties.
• To organise deliveries, and ensuring the fridges are stocked, using a first in, first out process.
• Assisting with clearing tables and maintaining a clean working environment.
• To ensure all labels and prices are correct.
• Maintain awareness of promotions, pricing and product information.
• To be flexible to work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and working on the floor, serving food and drinks.
• Follow food safety, allergen and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet service targets and maintain smooth operations.
• To attend all training and development course as requested.
• To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour appearance and knowledge.
• To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.
