Job summary

Staffordshire County Council is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Neurodiversity Team within Adult Social Care. You will provide operational leadership to a dedicated group of social workers and Intensive Support Workers, ensuring effective practice and sound decision making.

The role focuses on enabling adults with neurodiversity to live independently in their communities, through strengths-based practice, safeguarding, partnership working and continuous service improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experience leading adult social care teams.
• Experience with neurodiversity preferred.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As Team Manager, you will provide operational leadership and management to a busy Adult Social Care team. You will ensure high standards of practice, effective safeguarding arrangements, and positive outcomes for the people we support.This is an exciting team that was created over a year ago that works with neurodiverse adults that require the support of adult social care. This team focusses on enabling people to live their lives as independently as they can as they live with neurodiversity alongside other people. This is small but dedicated team of social workers and Intensive Support Workers, working countywideThis role is fixed-term for 12 months.
