Job summary

Career Makers are recruiting an experienced Team Manager to join a well-established specialist provider supporting autistic young people with complex needs. You will lead and develop a dedicated care team to ensure high standards of care and person-centred support.

Ideally you will have Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, and at least two years’ experience as a Support Worker, with experience in autism/learning disabilities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Support Worker.
• Experience working with autism and/or learning disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Line manage, coach and mentor a team of Autism Practitioners
• Support the recruitment and induction of new team members
• Manage staff attendance, sickness and other absences
• Monitor staff performance through regular check-ins and reviews
• Support the implementation of autism-friendly strategies
• Provide personal care in line with individual support plans
