Job summary

My Life is seeking a caring, reliable leader to oversee a team delivering community-based support for adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs. This role blends hands-on care with management to ensure high standards and person-centred services.

You'll supervise and develop a team, coordinate service delivery, and participate in the on-call rota. A strong driving record and local knowledge are essential for impactful community work in Standish and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent, and willingness to work towards Level 5 if not held
• Direct experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and/or mental health challenges
• Previous leadership experience (e.g., Team Leader, Senior Support Worker, Deputy Manager)
• Strong understanding of community-based support
• Ability to lead and manage a team, handle complex situations and drive positive outcomes
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
• Split between Standish site and community location
• Ability to participate in the on-call rota
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) - and willingness to work towards Level 5 if not already held

• Previous experience in a leadership role, such as Team Leader, Senior Support Worker or Deputy Manager

• A flexible and hands-on approach - this is role is split between our Standish site and your community location
• Ability to participate in the on-call rota

• Competitive pay: Up to £34,500 plus additional on call payment of circa £2,000 per annum. Potential earnings of up to £37,000.
