Job summary

Lifeways in Brighton is seeking a Care Team Leader to guide a compassionate team delivering person-centred care. You will work with the Service Manager to supervise and develop staff while ensuring high standards of care for individuals in their daily routines.

You will work on a rota with set shifts, not self-selected. Benefits include DBS checks, rewards, and employee wellbeing support, plus training opportunities to progress within Lifeways.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a care team and supervising staff.
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

We're currently looking for a dedicated and proactive Care Team Leader to join our established service, working alongside our Service Manager to lead a passionate team delivering person-centred care.

• Leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers

• Conducting staff supervisions, interviews, and ongoing development
• Promoting best practices and safeguarding standards
• Communicating effectively with staff, the people we support, and external professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and using IT systems confidently

Please note: You will be working on a rota basis, and shift patterns are assigned-you will not be able to select your own shifts.

We welcome applications from experienced Care Team Leaders or Senior Support Workers with an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). If you're a committed Care Assistant or Support Worker with a strong track record and the ambition to progress, we'll provide the training and development you need to succeed.
