Job summary

Advinia Healthcare are looking for a dedicated Team Manager to join Roberttown Care Home in Liversedge, a 29-bed residential home providing elderly and dementia care. The role is 40 hours per week, including 18 hours supernumerary and 22 hours hands-on care on a rota between Monday and Sunday.

You will monitor standards, support senior staff, review care plans and risk assessments, manage the staff rota, and ensure residents receive comprehensive assessments and appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Team leadership or management experience.
• Ability to communicate at all levels.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Deadline-oriented and able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor standards and provide professional support to senior staff.
• Review care plans, risk assessments, and medication administration.
• Ensure complete care assessments before admission and annual reassessments.
• Deploy staff via duty rota and approve timesheets in absence of Home Manager.
• Build good relationships with residents and families.
• Collaborate with Home Manager on training and regulator action plans.

Advinia Healthcare are looking for a dedicated Team Manager to come and join the team at Roberttown Care Home in Liversedge. Roberttown is a 29 bedded residential homelooking at elderly care and dementia.

Hours: 40 per week inclusive of 18 hours supernumeray and 22 hours providing hands on care working on a rota between Monday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• To ensure appropriate standards are maintained by monitoring and that appropriate professional support is provided to senior staff /team leaders.
• Appropriate reviews of care plans /risk assessments and medication administration. To ensure all assessment tools are in place and are fully utilised.
• Ensure all residents have a complete care assessment prior to admission to the home, taking account of their physical, social and psychological needs. To ensure as a minimum an annual re assessment of each resident’s needs.
• Deploy staff efficiently in relation to care duties to be covered by setting up and controlling the duty rota. Check and monitor care staff hours and authorise time sheets in absence of Home Manager.
• To establish good personal relationships with residents and their families.
• Work with the Home Manager to ensure all induction and mandatory training is completed. To identify other specific training needs.
• To work with the Home Manager on achievement of action plans from external regulators or internal support functions.
