Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council invites applications for a Team Manager in Residential Services. The post is permanent, full-time with 37 hours per week, across borough locations.

Salary ranges from £48,738 to £51,928 per year with access to pension schemes and development opportunities. Applicants should have a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care, Level 4 USW Step Up to Management, and be enrolled on Level 4/5 management qualifications, plus substantial senior residential care experience

We are recruiting a Team Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

For the role, we ask that you have:

• A QCF Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care,
• A Level 4 USW Certificate in Step Up to Management,
• Enrolment on Level 4 or Level 5 management qualification with the view to complete the Level 5 within 3 years
• Significant experience in a residential care setting at a senior level
• A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to undertake home visits, to transport children, young people and parents / carers during the week

The current registration requirements state that completion of the Consolidation of Practice qualification within your first 3 years of practice is mandatory (if you qualified after 1st April 2016). Failure to successfully complete this qualification will result in you being unable to renew your Social Work Registration or practice as a Social Worker.
