Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council in Wales is seeking a Senior Residential Child Care Worker to join Residential Services. The role is permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, and covers the county borough. The post offers an attractive salary and development opportunities.

To be considered for the role, you should have:

• A NVQ 3 Caring for Children and Young People
• At least 2 years' experience in a Residential childcare setting
• A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to undertake home visits, to transport children, young people and parents / carers during the week.

Failure to successfully complete this qualification will result in you being unable to renew your Social Work Registration or practice as a Social Worker.
