Job summary

Voyage Care in Folkestone is seeking a Team Leader to support a welcoming and dynamic supported living service. You will help people gain independence, supervise day-to-day operations, allocate shifts, train new colleagues, and develop care plans to meet individual goals.

Applicants should have a Level 3 in Health & Social Care and prior experience in a similar role, including work with individuals with autism, brain injury, complex needs, or challenging behaviours.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with autism, brain injury, complex mental health needs or challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Allocate shifts and book training.
• Induct new colleagues and conduct supervision and appraisals.
• Develop and update individual care plans and order medication as required.
• Support the manager with day-to-day supervision and service management in their absence.
• Help people gain independence and monitor daily living activities.
