Job summary

Creative Support is seeking an experienced Team Leader to coordinate supported living services in Tameside, Greater Manchester. You will oversee daily operations, allocate staff, and ensure high-quality care aligned with CQC standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of practitioner experience with supervision, and a health or social care qualification (Degree or NVQ Level 4/5). We value warmth, communication, flexibility, and commitment to ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ practitioner experience, including staff supervision and management.
• Hold or be working towards a degree or NVQ Level 4/5 in health or social care.
• Warmth, compassion and positive regard for service users; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible to service needs; leadership and management competencies; commitment to CPD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across the service.
• Allocate staff to meet individual needs; supervise and coach team members.
• Identify and record training needs; respond to referrals and conduct initial assessments.
• Develop and review support plans with service users; collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and community agencies.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment; facilitate service user engagement and peer support.
• Monitor quality and provide performance indicators; communicate risk management with stakeholders.
