Job summary

Change Grow Live in Hull is seeking an experienced Team Leader to drive a Stop Smoking service that helps people quit and improve health. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee day-to-day operations and support staff development, while maintaining a safe, person-centred service.

You will also manage a caseload of complex cases and act as deputy for the Service Manager when needed. The role requires NCSCT qualification or equivalent, management experience, and ability to work autonomously with

Qualifications

• Holds a National Centre for Smoking Cessation Training (NCSCT) qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a management role with line management, supervision and staff development.
• Experience in stop smoking services and evidence-based cessation interventions.
• Ability to lead and develop workstreams and manage complex caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Stop Smoking Advisors.
• Provide line management, supervision, appraisal and professional development support.
• Manage a caseload of people with complex needs with safe, effective interventions.
• Support colleagues with specialist cases and provide guidance on safeguarding matters.
• Deputise for the Service Manager when required.
