Iceland Foods Ltd. is seeking a committed Team Leader to bolster our retail team. You will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time you manage shifts, contributing to strong store performance and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring leadership, effective communication, and a proactive mindset to develop colleagues and deliver outstanding service across the store.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role ideal but not essential.
• Communicates effectively with every colleague to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plans and organises the shift, using every member of the team.
• Provides balanced feedback when needed to improve the performance of every colleague.
• Sets the pace of the team, when on shift, by being hands on to deliver a great store.

Responsibilities

• Maximise customer availability and store performance.
• Sell a £1 & save a £1 to drive sales.
• Deliver actions set by line manager.
• Support Talking Shop Rep and store engagement.
• Promote inclusive culture and staff development.
• Follow cash handling and security policies.
• Implement the One Best Way digital service.
• Lead the team to deliver a best place to shop.
