Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting a part-time Team Leader (20 hours) for Cherry Tree Court, night shifts. You will lead a dedicated team of Support Practitioners, supervise and coach staff, and shape high-quality care plans in a registered care home setting that supports up to 11 residents.

You’ll work on shift to build relationships with the people you support, promote inclusion and coordinate on-call duties, with an emphasis on respect, learning and continuous improvement within

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in social care.
• SVQ Level 3 in Care (or willingness to achieve).
• Experience supervising or coordinating staff.
• Working knowledge of budgets and targets.

We're looking for a compassionate and proactive individual to join our service in Cherry Tree Court as a Team Leader, on a (Part Time 20 hours), permanent basis.

Please note this role is nightshift and is condensed working hours shared with another member of the the team.

As a Team Leader, you'll provide first-line leadership to a dedicated team of Support Practitioners across our services, ensuring exceptional standards of care and practice. You'll take an active role in shaping the quality of support provided, leading by example and creating a culture of respect, learning and continuous improvement while supporting the Services Manager.

Cherry Tree Court is set up as a registered care home however provides support for up to 11 individuals in their own one bedroom flats all on minimally 1:1 ratio. The service aims to support individuals to meet personal goals and outcomes within their personalised weekly activity planners and have on site Positive behaviour support to develop proactive plans and support individuals who at time can experience difficulties.

Staff are required to provide support with day to day activities and additionally be involved in support planning and also future planning for individuals while liaising with health and social work colleagues and families.

It would be great if you have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, but this isn't a deal breaker if you don't.

• Experience supervising or coordinating staff.
• Working knowledge of budgets and targets.
• Strong communication, planning and motivational skills.
• SVQ Level 3 in Care (or willingness to achieve it).
• A values-driven approach built on inclusion, respect and empowerment.
