Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners in Cambuslang to help individuals achieve personal goals in a supportive home setting.

No prior care experience required; we recruit on values and transferable skills and provide fully funded SVQ training to help you grow in your role within our care home environment.

Our fantasticteam in Cambuslangare on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners.

You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We’ll give you all the training you need to be an amazing Support Practitioner including a fully funded SVQ.

The Role

Applicants that drive with access to their own car preferred but not essential.

Cherry Tree Court is set up as a registered care home however provides support for up to 11 individuals in their own one bedroom flats all on minimally 1:1 ratio. The service aims to support individuals to meet personal goals and outcomes within their personalised weekly activity planners and have on site Positive behaviour support to develop proactive plans and support individuals who at time can experience difficulties.

Staff are required to provide support with day to day activities and additionally be involved in support planning and also future planning for individuals while liaising with health and social work colleagues and families.

About Us:

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care.
