Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a store leader to build and develop a high-performing team, delivering fast, friendly, and efficient service to customers while achieving sales targets. You will manage the daily operation of the sales desk and drive the branch margin plan.

You will nurture trade customer relationships, coach colleagues to enhance product knowledge and commercial awareness, and ensure safety and compliance across the branch. This role requires 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a sales team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
• Ability to drive sales, margin and KPI performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Manage the daily operation of the sales desk for fast, friendly, efficient service.
• Drive branch sales and margin plan to achieve performance targets and KPIs; build relationships with trade customers.
• Use performance data and customer insights to identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability and team performance.
• Coach colleagues to develop product knowledge, commercial awareness and customer service skills.
• Support branch management and act as senior leader on duty when required.
• Ensure safety, security and compliance procedures are followed.
