Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in Wimbledon is seeking a dynamic leader to run the branch, coach a high-performing team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will manage the sales desk, align with the branch’s sales targets and KPIs, and build strong relationships with trade customers to drive retention and growth.

You will use performance data to spot opportunities for better sales, profitability and team development, while ensuring safety, security and compliance across the branch.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Managing the daily operation of the sales desk, ensuring customers receive a fast, friendly and efficient service.
• Driving the branch sales and margin plan to achieve performance targets and KPIs Building strong relationships with trade customers, supporting customer retention, account growth and new business.
• Using performance data and customer insights to identify opportunities to improve sales, profitability and team performance.
• Coaching colleagues to develop their product knowledge, commercial awareness and customer service skills.
• Supporting the wider branch management team and taking responsibility for branch operations when acting as the most senior leader on duty.
• Ensuring all safety, security and compliance procedures are followed across the branch
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
