Job summary

Job Overview

Responsible for maintaining effective and high quality domestic services within the community hospital ward and rehab unit which reflects customer need. To assist the estates and facilities manager with administration duties.

Main duties of the job

Day to day management of facilities staff

work unsupervised and report / escalate concerns /issues to estates and faculties manager

be prepared to work as a domestic assistant at short notice to cover staff absences

ensure the meal service is timely and meets the needs of patients

undertake cleaning audits on a daily, weekly and monthly check and ensure paperwork is completed

undertake the rostering , staff PDRs, team meetings, training and interviews as required

maintain and order domestic products as required
