Cobalt Housing Limited is seeking a Team Leader within the Property Services Directorate to support the in-house Voids and Major Repairs Service. You will coordinate void works across approximately 6,000 homes, ensuring safe, compliant and lettable properties in line with targets.

Job description

This role supports the delivery of Cobalt’s in-house Voids and Major Repairs Service, working closely with the Empty Homes Manager to ensure empty properties are returned to a safe, compliant, and lettable standard in line with agreed targets.

Operating within the Property Services Directorate, the Team Leader plays a key role in coordinating the delivery of void works across approximately 6,000 homes. The role focuses on operational oversight, performance management, and service improvement, ensuring contractors, suppliers, and internal teams deliver high-quality outcomes.

The postholder will work collaboratively across teams, with responsibility for line management of operatives. The role contributes to improving turnaround times, controlling costs, and enhancing customer experience, supporting Cobalt’s wider commitment to safe, well-maintained homes and thriving communities.
