Job summary

Islington Council is seeking a Team Leader to support Daylight and residents with profound learning disabilities. You will line-manage a small team of support staff, provide guidance, and help deliver high-quality day-to-day services.

You will work with the Deputy Manager and Manager, bring creativity, shape practice, and promote the CARE values to ensure equality and inclusion across the service in the borough.

Qualifications

• Experience of line managing a small team of support staff.
• Experience in social care or support for people with learning disabilities.
• Commitment to equality, inclusion and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Line manage a small group of support staff and provide guidance to improve quality of life for residents.
• Support the Deputy Manager and Manager with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Help shape practice and future direction of Daylight and community provision.
