At Adel Square Care Home, part of the St Mary's Care Group, we believe care is about so much more than meeting needs. It's about creating a warm, supportive environment where residents feel safe, valued, respected, and truly at home.

Our beautiful care home in Leeds provides residential, dementia, and respite care, and we're proud of the compassionate team that makes a difference to people's lives every single day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting care teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
  • Assisting residents with all aspects of daily living while promoting independence, dignity, and choice.

  • Supporting residents with mobility needs and ensuring appropriate equipment is used safely and effectively.
  • Observing and responding to changes in residents' health and wellbeing, reporting concerns promptly.
  • Assisting with care planning, record keeping, and reviewing residents' changing needs.
  • Supporting residents living with dementia and those who may experience confusion or behavioural challenges.
  • Providing compassionate end-of-life care and supporting residents and families during difficult times.
  • Encouraging participation in activities, hobbies, and meaningful social interactions.
  • Communicating effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Acting as a role model for best practice and helping to foster a positive and supportive team culture.

  • Is flexible and able to work a rota that includes weekends.
