Cornerstone is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant eager to advance to a more senior role and join our award-winning team.

Kitnocks House is a 63-bed facility comprising four specialised units, providing high-quality, personalised care for residents with complex conditions. We focus on the individual behind the diagnosis and are rated Good by the CQC.

Working Hours

Our rota offers a 7 out of 14 days pattern, providing more personal time:

• Week A - 3 days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 07:30 to 20:00
• Week B - 4 days: Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, 07:30 to 20:00

Average hours per week: 40.25.

Pay Rate

£14.52 - £16.52 per hour, depending on NVQ Level 3 and experience.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' UK care experience (essential)
• NVQ Level 2 in health & social care, with willingness to pursue Level 3
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to develop and implement care plans
• Understanding of safeguarding and care standards
• Emotional resilience and professionalism
• Accurate record-keeping skills
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Residents often have neurological degenerative conditions like Dementia combined with mental health issues, making them unsuitable for standard dementia or elderly residential care homes.
