Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Sherburn operation. This permanent role requires leading warehouse colleagues, driving productivity and maintaining safety, quality and service standards on a 4 on 4 off pattern (19:00–09:00 or 12:00–00:00).

You will coordinate activities, motivate teams, prioritise workloads and coach performance to meet daily targets while upholding high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar warehouse leadership role within a logistics or operational environment.
• Experience leading teams, conducting return-to-work interviews and supporting investigations where required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate colleagues and manage multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to make informed operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to lead by example and drive high standards.

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for Team Leaders to join our operation in Sherburn. This is a permanent role, working 4 on 4 off, on a 19:00 to 09:00 or 12:00 to 00:00 shift pattern, where you'll play a key role in leading warehouse colleagues and supporting the smooth delivery of daily operational activities. Working closely with the Shift Management Team, you'll help ensure operational targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
