Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc is recruiting for Team Leaders to join our operation in Sherburn. This permanent role runs 4 on 4 off with 19:00–09:00 or 12:00–00:00 shifts, leading warehouse colleagues and supporting daily operations to meet targets while upholding safety, quality and service standards.

We offer a salary of £29,870 per annum, 23 days annual leave, a company pension, life assurance, 24/7 online GP and an employee assistance programme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar warehouse leadership role within a logistics or operational environment.
• Experience leading teams, conducting return-to-work interviews and supporting investigations where required.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate colleagues and manage multiple priorities.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and the ability to make informed operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to lead by example and drive high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support warehouse operatives, creating a positive team environment focused on achieving individual and team objectives.

• Monitor performance and provide regular feedback, coaching and support to colleagues while escalating issues where appropriate.
• Promote a strong health and safety culture by ensuring colleagues follow safe systems of work, operational procedures and site standards.

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for Team Leaders to join our operation in Sherburn. This is a permanent role, working 4 on 4 off, on a 19:00 to 09:00 or 12:00 to 00:00 shift pattern, where you'll play a key role in leading warehouse colleagues and supporting the smooth delivery of daily operational activities. Working closely with the Shift Management Team, you'll help ensure operational targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and customer service.
