Job Description

You will be responsible for managing a small team of support workers, conducting and documenting care plans and risk assessments, staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings. You will also work with our Service Manager to support the best outcomes for customers and staff, ensuring excellent services are delivered. Approximately 80% of the role involves on-shift duties as a Support Worker, which include personal care, outings with service users (including physical, adventurous activities, and holidays), assisting with household tasks, and accompanying service users to doctor/hospital visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role in the care sector is desirable.
• Experience with learning disabilities is essential.
• A current member of the PVG scheme or willingness to register.
• Registered with SSSC or prepared to register.
