Job summary

CareTech Community Services in Newport, South Wales, is seeking a Residential Team Leader to supervise residential care for young people. The role includes consolidation shifts with sleep-ins and a strong emphasis on safeguarding and partnership with looked-after children.

You will hold QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, have at least 2 years of relevant experience, hold a valid driving license, and be available for weekend and sleep-in shifts.

• 2 years’ experience in children’s residential care.
• QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Driver with access to company car during working hours.
• Available for shifts including weekends and sleep-ins.

Residential Team Leader

Newport, South Wales

£37,098 per year (includes base salary + estimated sleep-in allowances)

Base Salary: £31,428.80 (Hourly rate : £15.11) Plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on an average of 7 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £5670 annually.

Full-Time permanent role. Consolidated shifts - great work/life balance | Sleep-ins included ( 6-8 a month)

We are looking for a Team Leader with experience within a children’s Residential setting, holding QCF Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent, along with a positive attitude, friendly persona and a caring nature.

Essential

• 2 years experience working within children’s residential
• QCF Level 3 Children & Young People qualification or equivalent
• Driver (company provide a car / mini bus during working hours)
• Available for Shift Pattern including Weekends and sleep in's
