Job summary

CYGNET is seeking a Team Leader to join Clynsaer, a specialist residential service in rural Carmarthenshire. You will work 37.5 hours per week, leading an experienced team to provide structured support for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The role focuses on guiding staff, ensuring high-quality care, and maintaining a safe environment. An enhanced DBS check is required, with ongoing training and leadership development offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in care or residential settings is preferred.
• Demonstrates leadership potential and ability to supervise others.
• Strong communication skills with service users, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ needs and offer tailored help accordingly.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs and report as required.
• Support management in day-to-day running of the service.
• Undertake supervisory and administrative responsibilities.
• Safeguard service users and maintain a safe, clean environment.
