Portman Recruitment is seeking a Team Leader for our client's Children's Homes to oversee daily care and lead a committed staff team delivering high-quality support to young people with SEMH needs. You'll deputise for Registered and Deputy Managers when required, build strong relationships with young people, and drive an environment that promotes safety, learning and positive outcomes across the home.

Salary: £39,680 - £46,944 per annum (assuming good attendance and up to 3 sleep-ins per month)

Our client's homes support young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, with the aim of creating the best possible outcomes for every young person in their care. You'll play a key role in supporting young people on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the home runs smoothly while helping to create positive experiences and lasting memories.
As a Team Leader, you'll also support and guide the staff team, ensuring the home continues to operate to the highest standards. You'll be prepared to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers when required.
We're looking for someone who can build strong, trusting relationships with young people. Compassionate, emotionally resilient and supportive, you'll also have the leadership skills to motivate and inspire your colleagues.
