Portman Recruitment is seeking a Deputy Manager for a group of Children’s Homes. The role focuses on leading a staff team, maintaining high standards of care, and supporting young people with SEMH needs within a multidisciplinary framework.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ residential childcare experience, with Level 3 Diploma essential and Level 5 Diploma desirable. A full UK driving licence and commitment to safeguarding are required.
Salary: £46,064 - £52,852 per annum (assuming good attendance)

As a Deputy Manager, you\'ll help create a home environment where both staff and young people feel safe, secure and supported. Our client\'s homes support young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, with the aim of achieving the very best outcomes. Their holistic approach ensures every aspect of a young person\'s development is supported, with multidisciplinary teams including Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and other clinical professionals working together to deliver positive outcomes.
By supporting the day-to-day management of the home, leading the staff team and ensuring the home consistently operates to high standards, you\'ll help young people regain their childhood and create pathways towards becoming well-rounded adults.
We\'re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years\' experience in residential childcare, including experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
