Job summary

Portman Recruitment is seeking a Senior Children\'s Residential Support Worker in Hinckley to join our client\'s homes. You will help young people navigate daily life, build positive experiences and school-ready routines, and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires leadership, resilience and compassion, with a focus on safeguarding and relationship-building. A Level 3 Diploma and full UK driving licence are essential.

Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

Salary: £36,231 - £40,640 per annum (assuming good attendance and up to 4 sleep-ins per month)

You'll play a key role in supporting young people on a day-to-day basis, ensuring the home runs smoothly while helping to create positive experiences and lasting memories.

As a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker, you'll provide guidance and support to the staff team, helping to maintain high standards of care and deputising for Team Leaders when required. We're looking for someone who can build strong, trusting relationships with young people and inspire colleagues through their leadership, resilience and compassion.

  • Up to 4 sleep-ins per month, paid at £80 per sleep (approximately £3,840 per year)
