Job summary

Greene King Apprenticeships is seeking a Team Leader to guide the shift, ensure high standards, and deliver memorable guest experiences at Hungry Horse pubs. You will deputise for management, coordinate a busy team, and uphold safety, legal, and cleanliness standards while fostering community spirit.

Ideal candidates show hands-on leadership, exceptional service, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a proactive, positive attitude and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to lead a team during busy shifts.
• Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to ensure the shift runs smoothly and the team is supported.

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible., Get a glimpse into a day in the life of our bar and waiting staff! In this video, you'll experience the pace, precision, and personality that go into delivering excellent service-from preparing drinks and taking orders to creating memorable moments for our guests., As a Team Leader, you'll lead by example, making sure the team have everything they need so the shift runs like clockwork!
