Prisoner Escort Custody Services, Serco operates across courts and vehicle bases throughout London, East & West England. We transport over [number] custodies per month, with our Operational Control Centre Team (OCC) ensuring these are transported on time, on schedule, and securely.
We are recruiting for 2 Operational Control Centre (OCC) Deputy Managers to lead our team based in Gloucester. Join a supportive work environment where you can make a difference. The centre operates 24/7, and you will cover various shifts, including nights and weekends, on a rota basis, with flexible working options available.
This critical role involves supporting organizational goals through operational management, stakeholder engagement, compliance, and welfare. You will manage a team of OCC Controllers, covering 24/7 shifts, and participate in incident management processes.
Do you excel in stakeholder engagement, team management, and decision-making under pressure? You should be adaptable and resilient to handle challenges and incidents effectively.
If you are detail-oriented, highly organized, resilient, and possess excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you. Previous experience in logistics or large-scale scheduling within a large geographical area is preferred. You must be computer literate and capable of managing large volumes of data. People management experience is essential.
