This is an exciting opportunity to be part of The Mungo Foundation, where we positively impact the lives of those we support in our various services across Glasgow.

We are looking for individuals who will support the Registered Service Managers in various services across the Greater Glasgow area, to implement innovation whilst maintaining a positive environment for both those we support and our staff. This role is ideal for those ready to take the next step in their career into a front-line management position.

You will be;

  • Responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support
  • Providing effective front-line management and development of a staff team
  • Communicating effectively with those we support, their families, and other professionals and agencies
  • Auditing and monitoring all systems and practices regularly
  • Ensuring that appropriate safeguards are in place
  • You will be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience working with adults and/or children with learning disabilities, mental health issues, addictions, epilepsy, autism, and physical support needs
  • Experience in using and developing person-centred planning approaches
  • Strong communication skills to motivate staff to deliver high-quality support
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload under pressure
  • SVQ3 Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential
  • Shift work including evenings and weekends is required. Positions are available on both part-time and full-time basis, which can be discussed at interview.
