Salary:£32,073.60 to £32,073.60 Annum (Salary based on a 48-hour contract.)

Overview of the role
The role of the Team Leader is to provide support and guidance to a team of social care workers, whilst making sure you always provide the highest level of care and leadby example. You will also liaise with the seniors in the home reporting any matters of concern.You must have experience in the care sector and have the willingness to learn and expand on your previous knowledge. Not only will you make a huge difference topeople’s lives, but you’ll be able to enjoy days out, trips away and join in with many more activities, all of which ensures the people we work with are safe, happy and lead fulfilling lives.

Where will youwork?
Redlands House is a large, detached home in Eastleigh, close to the town centre, five miles from Southampton. The home supports up to eight men and women of various ages with severe learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. People at the home have different levels of communication: some use Makaton, and others communicate with sounds, facial and body expressions and using objects of reference. Redlands has its own Activity Coordinator who creates a structured activity programme to enable ongoing personal development through a range of individual and group activities. There is transport for visits to leisure, recreational and educational activities in the community. The residents enjoy going to local fun fairs and zoos, and on boat rides around the Solent.
