Radis Community Care is seeking a Team Leader for our Extra Care Scheme based at Freeman Court, Chelmsford. The role combines care delivery with administrative duties, requiring leadership, flexibility and a commitment to dignity and independence for residents aged 55+.
37.5 hours weekly with a mix of shifts and office hours (9am–5pm). You will oversee care packages, supervise Radis Staff, manage care plans, and participate in on-call rotas.
Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our team based at Freeman Court in Chelmsford. Freeman Court has 65 one and two bedroom apartments designed to help local residents to retain as much independence and control over their lives as possible. We support Adults aged 55+ with Learning Disabilities, Mental Heath, Dementia and general welfare. This is a Full Time position, 50/50 Care and Admin, including a mixture of Shifts and Office Hours (9am - 5pm). 37.5 hours, per week, contract., As a Team Leader in our Extra Care Scheme, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care by overseeing care packages and supporting both people we support and Radis Staff. This role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to upholding dignity, choice, and respect in every aspect of care delivery. You will:
Previous experience as a Team Leader will be desirable but not essential.
The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3, or happy to gain the qualification. You will have good written and verbal commination skills and have a willingness to learn in line with the people we supports needs and expectations. This role requires you to undergo an enhanced DBS check. A driving license with access to a vehicle will be desirable but not essential.
