Job summary

MATIERE PREMIERE is seeking a Team Leader in Cardiff to drive daily operational excellence and inspire a high-performing fragrance advisory team. You will lead on-floor coaching, ensure impeccable service standards, and actively contribute to achieving boutique KPIs.

The role emphasises leadership, client engagement, and a passion for luxury fragrances, with the Store Management closely guiding commercial actions and training programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in high-end retail, ideally within niche perfumery or luxury beauty.
• Experience in team coordination or supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership mindset.
• Fluent English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support, guide, and motivate Fragrance Advisors on the sales floor.
• Uphold and embody the Retail Excellence ceremonial and service standards.
• Contribute to onboarding and continuous training of new team members.
• Act as a role model and operational leader, maintaining team spirit and engagement.

Team Animation & Coaching

• Support, guide, and motivate Fragrance Advisors on the sales floor.

• Supervise daily operations including openings, closings, and stock organisation.
• Ensure impeccable visual presentation and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Represent the Maison with expertise, passion, and elegance at all times.

Profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in high-end retail, ideally within niche perfumery or luxury beauty.
• Previous team coordination or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a leadership mindset.
• Keen sense of detail, positive attitude, and true passion for fragrances.
• Fluent in English; any additional language is an advantage.
