Job summary

Heart of England Co-operative Society is seeking a Team Leader for the Fenny Compton Food Store (16 hours per week). The role offers ownership of shifts, coaching a team and delivering strong customer service, with a clear pathway to Store Management.

You will run the operation in the Store Manager's absence, lead recruitment and training, and ensure stock, availability and compliance standards are met. This 16-hour/week position supports community-focused retail excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or a fast-paced customer environment.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience (or ready to step up).
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets.
• A natural motivator who can get the best out of people.
• Organised, resilient and comfortable taking ownership.

Team Leader - Step Into Store Leadership

We're looking for a Team Leader to join our Fenny Compton Food Store (16 hours per week).

This is your opportunity to move beyond a standard retail role and take real ownership-leading a team, driving performance, and building the skills to progress into Store Management.

What You'll Be Doing
