Heart of England Co-operative Society in Fenny Compton is hiring a Team Leader for the Fenny Compton Food Convenience Store (16 hours per week). You’ll lead a small team, drive performance and own the operation in the absence of the Store Manager.

You’ll recruit, train, coach and develop staff, manage shifts opening/closing, monitor stock and waste, and maintain high standards in availability, merchandising and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver strong performance
• Take ownership of shifts, including opening and closing the store
• Drive excellent customer service and make us the go-to store in the community
• Support recruitment, training and onboarding of new colleagues
• Manage performance, attendance and team engagement
• Control key commercial areas including waste, stock and labour
• Maintain high standards across availability, merchandising and compliance
