Job summary

Carers First in the UK is seeking a Team Lead to support the Service Manager in delivering an innovative carer support service across (West) Essex. The role requires remote and community working, with occasional travel across areas, and active engagement with carers to shape services.

You will lead a remote team, foster continuous learning, identify gaps, develop new initiatives, manage safeguarding, and build partnerships with local organisations to improve outcomes for carers.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience leading a remote team.
• Experience in coproduction with carers.

Responsibilities

• Lead on delivery of an innovative service for carers across (West) Essex, working in coproduction with carers and other teams across Carers First to create a culture of continuous learning.
• Motivate and inspire a team, empowering them to thrive, through providing visible day to day leadership and management, and creating a positive environment.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and developing new partnership opportunities to create better outcome for carers.
• Ensure safeguarding is everyone’s priority, leading the team to ensure adherence with safeguarding policy and in accordance with national guidance.
