Job summary

Carers Support West Sussex is seeking a skilled manager to coordinate multiple workstreams and lead a team focused on unpaid carers recruitment, support services, and partnership delivery.

The role involves overseeing grant-funded projects, working with senior managers, and translating insights into practical, accessible support for carers across the county. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a manager who can keep things organized, manage competing priorities, and help others deliver high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Experience working with unpaid carers and in service coordination or grant-funded program management is desirable.
• Appointment subject to an appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple workstreams and support a team of Specialist Leads, ensuring services are high quality, well organized, and responsive to carers’ needs.
• Provide leadership, structure, and oversight in a fast-paced environment working closely with senior managers.
• Oversee the delivery of grant-funded projects, ensuring they are effectively planned, coordinated, and delivered to a high standard.
• Collaborate with carers and partners to translate insights into meaningful, accessible support.
