Job Description: Administrative Support for Investment Management

Provide excellent administrative support to Investment Managers to help deliver optimal client outcomes. Work efficiently and effectively, adhering to the Company’s processes within the compliance framework. Under the management of the Investment Director, support various Portfolio Management teams with daily administrative tasks related to the ongoing monitoring of client portfolios in line with company procedures and models.

Work closely with the Investment Assistant on the desk to ensure the team is fully supported.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide administrative support as directed by your manager.
  2. Support various teams as necessary, e.g., writing file notes, drafting letters, arranging client meetings.
  3. Develop and maintain client relationships by providing accurate and timely administration support, adapting your approach for clients in vulnerable circumstances.
  4. Handle account opening and closing processes.
  5. Manage transfer of stock into accounts and payments.
  6. Update Avaloq with static data.
  7. Produce Excel reports using data from Avaloq.
  8. Support the Desk by placing trades in Avaloq based on instructions from staff, ensuring correct execution and booking.
  9. Assist Investment Managers with preparation and administration for client pitches and meetings.
  10. Assist the team with ongoing projects.
  11. Perform any other relevant duties within the role's scope as directed by management.
  12. Complete ad hoc tasks as assigned by your manager.
