Job overview

The Team Administrator provides a high-quality administrative and front-of-house service, supporting clinicians, managers and the wider multidisciplinary team. The post holder plays a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the service while delivering excellent customer care to service users, carers and partner agencies.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a busy multidisciplinary mental health team.
  • Manage telephone enquiries, correspondence, appointments and meeting arrangements.
  • Produce documents, reports, minutes and statistical information using Microsoft Office systems.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Deliver a welcoming and professional front-of-house service for service users, carers and partner agencies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the service and provide cover across the administration team when required.

Qualifications
  • RSA III/OCR Typewriting/text processing or equivalent typing/word processing qualification or demonstrable experience
  • Worked in NHS administration previously
