A leading health and social care provider is seeking a motivated team administrator for the East Surrey Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities. The role involves managing administrative duties, supporting a clinical team, and requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Candidates should be able to work independently while also engaging with public service users and other healthcare professionals effectively.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the East Surrey Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities as a team administrator. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to organise and carry out your work within clear timeframes.
Applicants will need to be able to communicate effectively and enjoy working as part of a team but be able to work independently as required. They should have a high level of database and word processing skills, a good working knowledge of secretarial processes, and be very organised. Previous experience with electronic patient record systems is desirable.
As a successful candidate, you must be able to work in a busy office and manage workload despite regular interruptions. The post will include working closely with the Office Manager, Service Manager, professional leads, and clinicians who make up the team.
The East Surrey CTPLD has two bases: Gatton Place – Redhill and 18 Mole Business Park – Leatherhead. Work across both bases is expected.
The role involves providing office administrative duties for a multi-disciplinary Community Learning Disability Team, including face-to-face contact with the public, service users, their families and carers, medical staff, and other agencies. Reception duties are undertaken when necessary.
