Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a proactive Teaching Learning and Student Experience Coordinator to join the Information, Advice and Guidance team. This on-campus role coordinates administration for teaching, learning and student experience, ensuring accurate information and excellent service.

Based in the School of Medical Sciences, you will supervise administrative colleagues, coordinate student support initiatives and events, and help drive continuous improvement of local processes to

• Relevant knowledge and experience in teaching and learning policies.
• Experience working in a large organisation with teamwork.
• Able to supervise staff and coordinate work activities.
• Flexible, responsive to customer needs with excellent communication.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the delivery of student-facing Information, Advice and Guidance services.
• Supervising and coordinating administrative colleagues and defined areas of activity.
• Coordinating student support, engagement and development initiatives, including peer mentoring, engagement with societies, student representatives and wellbeing activity.
• Coordinating events and activities that support the student experience, including welcome/induction, graduation, careers events and other School-level initiatives.
• Reviewing, monitoring and improving local administrative processes and procedures.
