Job summary

The University of Manchester invites applications for a Teaching and Learning Officer to support education development, quality assurance, policy and programme enhancement across the Faculty. You will work with Schools, the Faculty and the wider University to improve services and student experience.

This Grade 6 role requires experience in quality assurance and policy development, excellent communication, and strong analytical and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in quality assurance and programme enhancement in a Faculty or comparable setting.
• Experience developing and implementing policy or procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex matters clearly.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating guidance or training for colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support development, evaluation and monitoring of education policies and strategic priorities.
• Provide guidance and training on teaching, learning and quality assurance.
• Support programme development, approval, enhancement and review to meet internal and external requirements.
