Teaching Cover Supervisor (Training provided)

• £80 - £100 per day (salary depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

We are working with secondary schools in the Hartlepool area, seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join as Teaching Cover Supervisors. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on daily supply or in longer fixed-term supply contracts, supporting students across various subjects.

As a Teaching Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the regular teacher. Lesson plans will always be provided in advance. Your primary roles will include facilitating learning, managing classroom behaviour, taking accurate registers, and providing feedback to the absent teacher.

Successful Teaching Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, confident, and organised. They should have a passion for education and supporting young people, making a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain secondary school experience, especially for those considering a career in teaching. Previous experience is desirable but not essential.
