Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Redcar, UK
Salary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date:June 2025
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time positions available

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Redcar to recruit a confident and motivated Cover Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play a key role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour in the classroom.

Your Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll take charge of pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher. You’ll help students stay engaged with their learning, provide guidance where needed, and ensure a calm, focused environment. This is a brilliant stepping stone for those considering a career in teaching or education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences
• Ensure students remain on task and follow the provided lesson plans
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Promote a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding class progress or issues

• Has experience working with young people (school experience beneficial but not essential)
