Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is working with a well-resourced SEN school in Harlow to recruit a patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role starting ASAP.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes, help with communication and personal care, and follow EHCP targets within a supportive team. A genuine opportunity to make a lasting impact and secure a permanent position.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs
  • Calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
  • Willing to support personal care where needed
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN schools in Harlow that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible. This person will work in small groups or 1:1 with children who have a range of needs.
